            Vision Statement

Greetings…
Thank you, Preso De Monk, Preso Umaru, Preso Kelvin and thanks to the entire SLAJ family for the trust you have placed in me.

Our next chapter is defined by A.C.T.I.O.N.: Advocacy, Commitment, Transparency, Innovation, Organisation, and Networking.

We are building on solid foundations: your work, your sacrifices, and now we must deliver deeper impact.

From advocating for the enactment of Chapter 12 on media freedom to protecting journalists' welfare; from professionalising our operations to leveraging innovation and AI, my administration is ready to lead SLAJ with heart, clarity, and purpose.

My vision is for a united, professional, inclusive SLAJ that is respected at home and abroad. A SLAJ that champions media independence, empowers its members, and acts boldly, always.

I hope to see where Advocacy Commitment Transparency Innovation Organisation and Networking drive our progress. Together we can transform our challenges into achievement and uphold the integrity of objectivity and professionalism.

I will rely on the support of our past presidents, now in the Advisory/Elders Council to guide us in good faith and in the best interest of SLAJ and her aspirations.

I will rely on us in the national and regional executives to work as a team towards a common goal: the advancement of SLAJ.

Let us ACT!
Let us deliver!
Let us move forward, together!
