By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Access to Education Sierra Leone (A2ESL) is a commendable organization led by Honorable Mohamed Papa Bangura of Bombali District, Sierra Leone. Since 2015, they have been tirelessly advocating for and financially supporting Ebola orphans and vulnerable children in the region. Earlier today, at the Masuba community center A2ESL conducted its annual Back to School program, which aimed to provide significant educational support to ninety Ebola victims from various villages in Bombali District, including Pate Bana, Masuba, and Makeni. The educational support included a range of essential items such as cash assistance, school uniforms, books, pens, shoes, and backpacks. These items were distributed to students attending primary, junior, and secondary schools in the region. Many of these students have received similar support from the organization in the past.
