Placed in Group B alongside Mali, Mauritania, and Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone’s U-17 team managed one win out of their three matches—a victory over Mauritania. However, earlier losses to Mali and Guinea Bissau ultimately ended their campaign, cutting short hopes of advancing in the qualifiers.
