2019 EBK League Wild with Delights

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson – (AR- WILSON ) The 2019 EBK League which has been referred to as the Northern Champions League by some sports followers will kick start on Saturday October 19 this year. Twenty teams from six Districts (Bombali, Kambia, Port Loko, Tonkolili, Koinadugu and Kono) are already lined up to play home and away games in eight days fixtures. All games for this phase of the competition are expected to be played in Makeni, Bumbuna, Lungi, Rokupr, Kambia, Bamoi, Fadugu, Port Loko, Mile 91 and Magburaka respectively. Cheltenham, Sunday Foundation, Talent Rangers, Urban and Bullom Stars are all debutants into the EBK League. The defending champions Wusum Stars will face the Bombali District latest division two champions in Makeni, while other teams will have to battle it out at other venues in the northern region. KONTA MURDER TRAIL CONTINUES TODAY

According to an eye witness, Osman Muntha Kargbo, informed the jam-packed court that on 12th August 2019 at Konta Village in the Konta Bai Sheray Chiefdom in the Bombali District, Northern Province of Sierra Leone. He saw the first accused Yusif Kamara grabbed the deceased Mohamed Kamara during a bitter argument that ensued between them for a missing mobile phone. He continued that the decease Mohamed Kamara orally accused his younger brother Yusif Kamara for clandestinely taking away his mobile phone without his consent; he noted that during the process both the accused and the decease scolded each other. 81 YEARS OLD BLIND MAN CRIES… “JUSTICE WILL MEET ME IN MY GRAVE”

Bangah With tears running down his old and frail eyes, the eighty one (81) years old blind Pa Kemokoh Conteh of Sawulia Village in the Gbanti Chiefdom, Bombali District informed this medium about his ordeal in seeking justice at Chief Barry at Pan-lap, Local court and magistrate court for vulnerable people is stressful.
