By: Tejan Frederickson Fatorma, SLFA Media Officer Attached, National U20✍️ The Sierra Leone U-20 football team recently participated in a one-day safeguarding workshop organized by the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone A. The event was held at the Boulevard Palace Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia, on Tuesday 17th September 2024 was a directive from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as part of the ongoing U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers tournament. Representing the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) at the workshop were Technical Director Ibrahim Bah, Shooting Stars captain Momoh I. Kamara and Edward Bello Yillah as player representatives. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for the team to gain insights and experience on critical issues affecting young players.
