Paine Sierra Leone's Football Legend Mohammed Kallon has officially accepted the role of head coach for the Sierra Leone national team, starting a new era in the country’s football journey. In his first statement following the announcement, Kallon expressed his deep sense of duty and patriotism. ‘ I accept this job because it is my country. It was not an easy decision- there were many considerations- but now we are here. I am honoured to serve Sierra Leone. I love my country, and that is why I am taking on this responsibility “ Kallon said. Kallon's appointment comes as part of the ‘Concept 2027 ‘ initiative, a long-term strategy designed to evaluate Sierra Leone’s football standards, nurture young talent and establish a competitive national team on the international stage.
