By: Alusine Rehme Wilson The long walk in search of this year’s EBK-Trophy Champions is set to continue later today at the Wusum Stadium where Golden Dragons will battle their Magburaka counterparts Kholifa Stars in the first semi-final match while Sella Stars of Kamanwie and Bullom Stars from Lungi will lock horns in the other semi-final match at the same venue. Automatically, the winners of both games will secure the last two spots in this year’s competition since the semi-final will have been declared to be played on a knock-out format, noting the unavailability of a match venue in Makeni since the Wusum Stadium will also have to play host to a number of matches in the Women’s and Men’s top Tiers, a top official of the organizing committee has said. Meanwhile, there are growing concerns by the participating teams regarding the winners and runners prize money but the organizers of the league have chosen to pay deaf ears to the growing concerns raised.
