​Messi’s World Cup post makes instagram history

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson  Owner of Facebook and Instagram Mark Zuckerberg says “Leo Messi's World Cup post is now the most liked in Instagram history.” Mr. Zuckerberg took to his Facebook page on Tuesday evening to make the announcement in which he also informed users of his online community applications that on that day: “WhatsApp also reached a record 25 million messages per second during the final.” In less than a hour after Mark’s posted the record breaking announcement on his Facebook handle which has some 119 Million plus followers, his post got over 243,000 reactions plus 24,800 comments, and the it being shared some 15,000 times. Magburaka’s Kholifa Stars, Lungi’s Bullom Stars to race for 13th EBK-Cup

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson  After respectively picking up vital semi-final wins at the Makeni Wusum Stadium, Magburaka based football outfit Kholifa Stars and Bullom Stars Football Club of Lungi, are the finals of this year’s EBK-Trophy. Both sides grabbed their tickets to this year’s EBK-Trophy grand finals, respectively, after beating rivals Golden Dragons and Sella Stars Football Club-(the tournament newcomers) 1-0 and 3-1 on Saturday and Sunday to book a date for the grand finals underway at the Wusum Stadium in Makeni city, at 4:30pm on Christmas day. Like last season’s edition, this year’s EBK-Trophy is a Northeast and Northwest regions derby as both teams Kholifa Stars of Magburaka in the Northeast and Bullom Stars Football Club of Lungi in the Northwest region, have all got the backing of sports enthusiasts in their respective regions rooting for them as the hot favorites to lift the 2022 EBK-Cup.
