This preliminary qualifier is for a chance to enter the AFCON 2025 qualifiers group stage. On Tuesday, the AFCON 2025 preliminary round draw, which took place at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, revealed the four lowest-ranked teams among the eight: Djibouti, Somalia, Chad, and Sao Tome. During the FIFA Window, these teams will host the other four highest-ranked teams: Liberia, Eswatini, Mauritius, and South Sudan, who will host the second leg of the matches.
