Mogbowemo Queens Traore bags Woman of the Match Award after AS Mande draw

Kargbo Promising shots-stopper Mawa Traore, while making her second competitive appearance for Mogbwemo Queens FC was named the Woman of the Match in today's goalless encounter against AS Mande from Mali at the SKD Sports Complex. The 2022/23 Sierra Leone Women's Premier League champions, Mogbwemo Queens FC displayed another impressive performance in their second match of the ongoing CAF Women's Champions League Zonal Qualifiers, however, AS Mande pushed for a draw. Goalkeeper Traore was awarded the Woman of the Match after making crucial saves denying the few chances created by AS Mande while playing on the break. Mogbwemo Coach optimistic of win against AS Mande

By: Hawa Dauda in Monrovia   ```Adama Suma is the first Sierra Leonean female coach to be in the touchline in the CAF Women’s Champions League. Her team won the first Elite Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League. Suma is a former player for Sierra Leone Police and Lioness Football Clubs. After retiring from active football, she took up coaching as a profession so that she could give back to the game she loves so much. She started her coaching career with her former team, Sierra Leone Police FC, and later joined the Mogbwema Queens to become the first female technical director of a female premier league team in the country, Mogbwema Queens that is based in Rutile in the southern part of Sierra Leone. She later became the head coach. Adama Suma is also Assistant Coach II for the Sierra Leone National U20 female team. Her passion and dedication for coaching young players remain unquestionable.
