With four points and four goals from two matches the Shooting Stars lead the standings, while Tanzania after a narrow loss to South Africa will be desperate to register their first win. The Ngorongoro Heroes crowned 2025 CECAFA U20 champion are playing their second match in the tournament having previously debuted in 2021. Meanwhile, Sierra Leone's squad has been energized, determined to carve their name in history with a Quarterfinal qualification as debutants. This encounter also marks the first-ever competitive meeting between the two teams at this level.
