The U-20 Shooting Stars of Sierra Leone will know their group contenders for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) U-20 on Thursday, 13th February. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the draw will take place today at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The Sierra Leone U-20 team will be making its debut in this prestigious youth continental tournament. Representing the WAFU Zone A region, Sierra Leone will join the current AFCON U-20 defending champions, Senegal, in this year's competition. The technical team of the Shooting Stars has commenced intensive preparations at the SLFA Academy, initially inviting 50 players for training. As preparations continue, the squad has been significantly trimmed to ensure only the best talents are selected for the tournament in Ivory Coast.
