Bangah A forty two (42) years old man, Alimamy Mohamed Sankoh was yesterday arraigned before presiding magistrate Peter Gogra for the offence of Sexual Penetration of a Child contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act No 12 of 2012 and Sexual abuse by person in trust, contrary to Section 25(1) (a) of the Sexual Offences Act No12 of 2012. According to court evidence, it was disclosed that the accused Alimamy Mohamed Sankoh on the 1stJanuary 2016 and Friday 10th January 2020 at Mabang village in the Kholifa Mabang Chiefdom in the Tonkolili District, Northern province of the republic of Sierra Leone engaged in an act of sexual penetration with an eleven years old girl. The eleven years old minor testified that the accused Alimamy Mohamed Sankoh came to her village at Gbangbantoke and met with her parent with the pretext to supporting her in her educational desire but unfortunately turn her as her marital wife.
