By: Tejan Frederickson Fatorma, Media Officer, Sierra Leone U-20 Team The Sierra Leone National U-20 team, Shooting Stars took a significant step towards the next stage of the ongoing AFCON U-20 qualifiers by defeating the host nation, Liberia 3-1 at the SKD Stadium in Monrovia. After drawing their opening match against Guinea, Shooting Stars approached today’s game with panache and pedigree. Their efforts paid off when the team’s captain, Momoh Ibrahim Kamara delivered an outstanding performance opened the deadlock in the 37th minute. Kamara skillfully navigated through an Idrissa Sesay low cross assist to put Sierra Leone in the lead. The momentum continued in grand style in the second half of proceedings when Santigie Fornah doubled the lead in the 50th minute.
