By: Alusine Rehme Wilson The National Political Debates Committee -(NPDC) on Thursday, December 8 briefed the media on its plans to host the nation's first-ever political debates for youth, women and persons with disabilities. The day’s event was hosted at the Harry Yansaneh hall on Campbell Street and was chaired by Mr. Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, the President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists-(SLAJ). In his opening address, Mr. Nasralla welcomed the journalists from both print and electronics media institutions in the country invited to the event, saying you're all welcome to this News conference organized by the NPDC which comprises of eleven organisations including SLAJ, SLUDI, CGG, IGR, PPRC and the SLBC to keep you all informed with the plans we've put together with regards the upcoming debates we will be organizing for youth, women and persons with disabilities.
