”Grateful to end the season with great experience and big achievements” - Sierra Queen’s Captain Rashidatu Kamara

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson  Sierra Leone’s National Senior Women’s Team Captain Rashidatu Kamara who joined Amemia Women’s Championship side Noravank Sport Club last September on a two years contract has expressed immense satisfaction over her debut League season which she fineshes on high. Kamara says she is deeply excited to end the season with great experience and big achievements.  “I’m hungry for more time to rest and get back to the lab, said the former Mahmood FC and Wonder Girls FC forward. In her debut appearance with the Armenia based female outfit, the wonder girl from Sierra Leone made a total of sixteen appearances and was involved in the scoring of 12 goals, accounting for five goals netted plus seven assists. Her efforts enjoined with her Noravank SC teams saw them finished as the season’s runners up with 30 points behind champions Hayasa who won the Armenia Women’s Championship with a total of 46 points.

New East End Lions Appointee Mohamed Macarthy Bangura Discloses Immediate Action Plans

As Police releases Journalist Sorie Saio Sesay on bail, SLAJ North Revoked “News Blackout”

SLAJEC Announce New Date for SLAJ Election

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson  The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists Electoral Commission-(SLAJEC) has on Monday, May 30 announced June Saturday, June 18, 2022 as the new date for the anticipated Journalists Elections. The initially host venue, Makeni city remains unchanged but the commission also announced new dates: Friday, 10 June for the puplication of the final list of eligible voters of the SLAJ Elections, 10th to 14th June as the Memebership petition window and Thursday, 16th June, 2022 for the publication of final votes register.
