The announcement, made on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the federation's office in Freetown, marks the beginning of a new chapter in Sierra Leonean football. The unveiling ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima, Vice President 1 Harold Nat-Johnson, NSA Executive Director Dr. Emanuel Safa Abdulai, and Director of the Ministry of Sports Haroun Korji.
