SWASAL President Sahr Morris calls for collaboration moving forward in the New Year

Sahr Morris Jr. the President of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone-(SWASAL) said his executive is looking forward to a collaborative and productive future together with all and sundry in the new year-2022. 

“On behalf of the National Executive of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) and our Sports Journalism family, we would like to wish you and your beloved families and loved ones a warm, blessed and happy Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2022,” President Morris noted in his end of year remark to his membership, partners and members of the general public. 

While reminiscing the past in his New year message, the SWASAL Boss acknowledged all those who have heled to shape and bring new ideas, development initiatives and enhanced co-existential working relationships between and amongst the sports family devoid of the challenges he faces as a young administrator by extension those banes the association he leads has face and continue to face. 

“We have however been able to achieve some good things together as a family and as individuals, citing The hosting of the first-ever E-Conference to celebrate the World Sports Journalists Day, SWASAL partnership with Africell Mobile Company, coverage of Sports Journalists on international competitions, the first-ever training of Sports Journalists on Cricket Reporting as well as SWASAL new partnerships with financial institutions such as the United Bank of Africa, the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank plus their  relationships strengthened with the Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports apart from having an increased number of members and the strengthening of our relationship with our AIPS affiliates, amongst others which he said are all motivation and part  of his push forward agenda. 

“We continue to have few other success stories that are just a few touches away from our collective hold. We have the strong conviction that with God Almighty on our side, we will reach those goals as additional milestones, he assured. 

Conclusively, on his New Year agenda the SWASAL President beseeched his membership to” brace up for more exposures, additional work and activities this year and to collectively open new chapters for our organization moving forward, which he believed “SWASAL is honored to be doing so together in a spirit as we look forward to producing collaborative and productive results this year and in the future.
