​Orange’s Mega Storm Ramadan Promotion put smiles on faces of Makeni “Orange Money” Subscribers

Several Subscribers of Orange Sierra Leone’s Mobile Money Services “Orange Money” who won assorted food items as prices from the  leading telecommunication services provider Ramadan Promotion remains all cheering in the Northern region economic city.

The Orange mobile money subscribers had won several food items as prizes from a raffle conducted by Orange Money staff at the entrance to the main market of Makeni city opposite the clock tower located along the central business district of the municipality.

Food items won from the raffle by the pool of orange money subscribers from the Saturday Ramadan promotion includes boxes of tin tomato, Orange branded orange money backpacks, caps and t-shirts as well as tins of milk, 5kg sugar, and 5kg packs of rice among other condiments.

Speaking on the purpose for the promotion, Abibatu Baxter, Head of Marketing Strategy and Partnerships for Orange Money Sierra Leone told Awoko Newspaper that: “the day’s raffle draw is part of Orange Sierra Leone and Orange Money multiple Ramadan promotion activities lineup that concludes of the Jamah Sunakati and the Mega storm promotion with  the overall star prize being a one year supply of food items to the eventually lucky subscriber that will emerge as the winner at the end of the promotion.

“These promotions are part of our commitments as a company to letting our service subscribers know that we love and care for them because they are so dire to us, “Dem na wi bol eye.”

Adding that: “the promotions are open to all orange money subscribers who just need to either buy data, buy top-up, send or receive orange money to qualify for the draw and stand a chance to win amazing prizes in the Ramadan promotion.”

Among the many winners of the day, 33-year-old Shekubah Swaray won the surprise price from the day’s raffle and was gifted with packs of 5kg rice and sugar, a tin of dry milk and over-tin as well a customized orange money backpack, cap and a t-shirt haven emerged as one of the winners from the raffle after he purchased an orange money sim-card.

Speaking to Awoko Newspaper, an excited Swaray thanked Orange Money Sierra Leone for the surprise package. “I was surprised when I heard my phone ringing, it was the first call on my new sim-card and I am happy that that very call has made me happier and now remain all smiling after winning these valuable prices from Orange Money’” he explained.

He says the food items will help him to have an easy going Ramadan as he continues to observe the fasting and the blessed Islamic month. “My Orange money will stay longer, flourish and continue to impact us as customers,” he conclusively noted and prayed for the mobile service providers.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
