Golden Dragons, Smart Foundation, two others Gear-up for NERFA Division One League Return Legs Showdown

After the draw in Magburaka, the Golden Dragons of Tonkolili District and Smart Foundation of Makeni are gearing up to face off against Bombali Sebora FC and Kabala City FC respectively in the North East Region Football Association (NERFA) return leg matches later today. 

At 4:30 PM, the reigning NERFA Men's Super-10 Champions, Bombali Sebora will welcome the Golden Dragons at the Wusum Stadium in Makeni, while Kabala City FC will host Smart Foundation of Bombali in Kabala.

All teams are ready and focused on the upcoming matches, which will determine the finalists qualifying for the 2023/24 Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) playoffs, with the he top three teams will battle for a spot in the 2024/24 Sierra Leone Premier League.

Meanwhile, Bombali Sebora's Acting Head coach, Sidikie Braboss Mansaray and his side's skipper Ahmed Didat Kalokoh have told AWE-Media Sierra Leone that they're "confident in their team's ability to defeat the Golden Dragons and secure a spot in the national division one playoff."

Like the Bombali Sebora FC team captain, the skippers of Golden Dragons, Smart Foundation, and Kabala City are also optimistic about their chances to qualify for the national first division playoff.

As anticipation builds for the thrilling return leg matches in Makeni and Kabala, the football community is eager to witness the battle for the two slots in the national first division playoffs.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
