Low Attendance Grips Rogbaneh Government Municipal Girls School, Makeni Following Unsettling Incident

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson  Almost 72 hours since a shocking event stirred panic among residents of the northeastern city of Makeni. The incident which took place on Tuesday, January 28, has led to an alarming decline in student attendance at the Rogbaneh Government Municipal Girls School. This all girls learning institution, which gained recognition two years ago as the first science-focused girls' school in the northern region, had an incredible enrollment of 1,000 students across grades JSS-1 to SSS-3 as of January this year. However, in the past 48 hours, attendance has dropped by over 80%. Reverend Mohamed Brown, a senior educator and head of guidance and counseling at the school, confirmed this significant drop in attendance. Diamond Stars Dazzle with Epic Comeback over FC Kallon

By: Abdulrahman Barrie in Freetown   Diamond Stars showcased their resilience and determination by staging a remarkable comeback to defeat FC Kallon 3-2 in the Leone Rock Premier League 2024/25 at the Approve School Playing Field.  The match was nothing short of a rollercoaster, keeping fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish. FC Kallon started strong, with Hassan Milla scoring the first goal in the 15th minute, assisted by Momoh Lappo. Christopher Bangura added to their lead with a goal in the 31st minute, thanks to an assist from Sahr Musa.  At halftime, it seemed FC Kallon had the game under control with a 2-0 lead. However, Diamond Stars had different plans for the second half. US Basded Taekwondo Stars Inspires Sierra Leoneans in Lungi

This visit aimed to inspire and motivate the young athletes to pursue excellence in the sport. Foreign Based Taekwondo Stars Gear-up for Payback
