Wilson In a landmark step toward promoting academic excellence and youth empowerment, A Call To Business (ACTB) Bank , Sierra Leone’s leading microfinance institution, has rewarded the top three graduating students of the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology (EBKUST) from a graduating class of 1,823 students . The initiative was unveiled during EBKUST’s 7th Congregation Ceremony for the conferment of degrees, diplomas, and certificates, held at the Prof. E.J.J. Momoh Pavilion . It marked a historic first in Sierra Leone’s higher education sector, with ACTB Bank becoming the first financial institution in the country to introduce a formal reward scheme at a university graduation ceremony , naming EBK University as its pioneering beneficiary.
