KAMASONDO STAKEHOLDERS ENDORSED ALPHA KABBA

At a well-attended ceremony in Pepel in the Kamasondo chiefdom, PortLoko District, thousands of supporters gathered on Sunday 16th February 2020 to publicly declare their support to democratically vote Alpha Ibrahim Kabba AKA “the Hero”for the Kamasondo chieftaincy election as stipulated by the Local Government schedule.

On behalf of Kamasondo chiefdom stakeholders, Councilor Saidu Abass Bangura said Aspirant Alpha Ibrahim Kabba is the rightful son of the chieftaincy throne and has spent his resources and energy to make sure Kamasondo be de-amalgamated from the Lokomasama chiefdom.
He revealed that during trial times, he was the sacrificial lamb and makes frantic efforts to make sure the chiefdom becomes independent, noting out that his frantic efforts prompted the successful de-amalgamation process to take into effect.

He concluded that those who are aspiring for chieftaincy should consider themselves that Kamasondo chiefdom stakeholders are not fools and should not be bought over easily because the “political harvest time is over”. Stating out that Kamasondo has only two ruling houses, Kamara and Kabba from Madina and that any establishment of another ruling house is fraud which the chiefdom stakeholders we legally reject.  

He reiterated that the mammoth crowd is a clear demonstration to endorsed Alpha Ibrahim Kabba as their next paramount Chief for Kamasondo chiefdom. 

Regent Chief, Pa Alusine Bakie Kamara thanks Kamasondo chiefdom people for demonstrating their love and commitment towards the development of the chiefdom. He congratulate aspirant Alpha Ibrahim Kabba for his frantic efforts to make sure that Kamasondo becomes a chiefdom of itself.


He therefore called on chiefdom stakeholders to continue to love one another for the betterment of the chiefdom, pointing out that peace is paramount and without peace there will be no sustainable development.

Aspirant Alpha Ibrahim Kabba thanks the people of Kamasondo Chiefdom for all the sentiments expressed, stating that those aspirants who are coming for the political harvest should think wisely to accept defeat because the crowd demonstrates the will of the people.
He maintained that he believes in the core values of democracy and that his hands are open to accept and work with colleague aspirants who may wish to contest with him.

He called on the people of Kamasondo chiefdom not to rob their integrity for the sake of money in establishing a new chieftaincy house in the chiefdomso that“prosperity will not judge them”.

The declaration of intent ceremony ended up with a cultural dancing Drumming and singing climax the event.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
