Ram Kamara Crowned Champions of 2024/25 Sierra Leone Female Premier League

Ram Kamara FC have been officially crowned champions of the 2024/25 Sierra Leone Female Premier League, following a dominant season that showcased their strength, consistency, and winning mentality.

Joy erupted at the Bo coronation field on Saturday evening 5th July 2025 after the team was officially declared champions of the 2024/25 Sierra Leone Female Premier League with a game to spare. Players, coaches, and fans broke into celebrations, singing, dancing, and waving flags to mark their historic achievement.


"It’s been a season of hard work, unity, and belief,” said head coach Mohamed Kamara. “Winning the title before the final game shows the level of dominance and consistency we’ve had.”

I came here with the mentality to win the title and I got the support from management, fans, players and everyone that surrounds the team even our closest contender Mogbewemo Queens gives us the strength to stop them dominating the league.

Now we are focusing on a bigger picture of Africa qualifiers. Getting one of their best players Mariama Sembu is a blessing and a plus to us she helped us a lot Kamara concludes.

Star striker Mariama Shembu  has set a new record for most goals scored in a single season in the Sierra Leone Female Premier League season with 42 goals so far after previous record holder Kumba Zainab Brima formally of fc Kallon won it with 37 goals. 

Her incredible goal tally powered Ram Kamara to the 2024/25 league title, capping off a historic campaign for both player and club.

“She’s been unstoppable,” said head coach Kamara “Her hunger, consistency, and leadership on the field made all the difference this season.”


The record-breaking feat has earned Shembu praise from fans and football observers as the  best player in the league.

The team is on 61 points ahead of their closest rivals Mogbewemo Queens who are on 52 points after a string of impressive performances both home and away.


The championship win cements Ram Kamara’s status as a powerhouse in women’s football and brings pride to their fans and the entire community.
