By: Tejan Frederickson Fatorma Sierra Leone Men's U20 Players The Sierra Leone National Under-20 men's team is in high spirits as they enter day three of their training preparation for the upcoming West African Football Union (WAFU A) U20 sub-confederation tournament in Liberia which will commence from the 15-30 September, 2024. Friday, 12th July marks the third day since a 46-man squad was invited to camp for this all important tournament. The Head Coach, Mohamed Lamin Kamara, together with his technical team, is committed to ensuring the team is adequately prepared and determined for the upcoming event. By: Amjata Bayoh - (Guest Writer) ✍️ Coach Mohamed Lamin was recently accused of breaching his contract last month by his former team, leading to his suspension for the final three fixtures of Wusum Stars in the just-concluded SierraLeone PremierLeague.  According to a press release by Wusum Stars, the club claimed Coach Lamin had already signed a contract with another club while his mandate at Wusum Stars had not expired. When Salone Sports contacted Coach Mohamed Lamin Kamara last month to get his side of the story, he denied any wrongdoing. He confirmed he has not yet signed a deal with another club but acknowledged that he has been approached by other clubs inquiring about his services.
