Kambia District Organizes Heroic Welcome for Sierra Leone Goalkeeper Today

Mayor of Freetown to Grace UNIMAK’s 65th Public Lecture on Friday

Northern Region Super-10 intensify after AFCON Break

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson After being on the halt for nearly six weeks due to Leone Stars participation at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, the 2021-2022 Northern Region Men’s Super-10 championship has resumed on high note. A total of six goals have been scored by three different teams from all six matches played so far between January 18 and 24th. Morocco, Senegal Edge Malawi and Cape Verde to earn round of 16 tickets

Equatorial Guinea win knocked Sierra Leone off AFCON Race

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Sierra Leone's senior men's team(Leone Stars) aspiration to progress to the round of sixteen of the 2021-TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations came to an abrupt end on Thursday evening at the Omnisports stadium in Limbe after bowing 1-0 to their Group-E opponent Equatorial Guinea in their crunch clash. Fuel Scarcity in Makeni: Bike Riders, “Jebu” Sellers Hike Prices

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Fuel “Jebu” Sellers and Bike Riders in Makeni have unhealthily increased the prices of fuel per liter and transportation fee blaming Gas stations in Makeni who have been rationing sales while have since closed down their stations for over 72 hours now leading to astute scarcity of gas within the municipality. Of the nearly twelve gas stations in the municipality of Makeni, ten namely NP-stations (5) total-(3) and two privately owned stations have refused to sell fuel to motor owners for the past three days instead they are secretly rationing sales to “Jebu Sellers” at the expense of motor drivers and riders as well as the common man in the municipality.
