It could be recalled that about a month ago, an audio recording circulated widely on social media, containing allegations implicating some referees in activities believed to be connected to match manipulation. Following the circulation of the audio, the Bo District Football Association, in collaboration with the Southern Region Football Association, reportedly launched an investigation and established a committee to probe the allegations. According to information attributed to the club’s management, the pair were travelling from Freetown to Bo when they arrived at the checkpoint, where police officers were conducting routine checks. The management alleges that, during the search, Quad’e was subjected to inappropriate physical contact when an officer allegedly touched her breast area in an attempt to establish whether she was a woman.
