The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Schools Education (MBSSE) has confirmed. “The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Schools Education (MBSSE) has now adopted Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into the entire basic and senior secondary education in Sierra Leone as a core subject from class one through SSS3, and as electives from SSS1 through SSS3.”  An official statement dated 13 November, 2019 States. The competition which has began on Friday, 16th November, 2019 saw hundreds of school pupils and other lovers of football storming both the 4th Infantry Brigade Head Quarter, Teko Barracks mini stadium and the Wusum sports complex to cheer up their school teams. By: Sahr James Bangah The Local Unit Commander, Chief Superintendent of Police Francis Joe Songu, over the weekend informed this medium that his men have embarked on rapid deployment and patrol in all crime zones within the Makeni municipality ahead of Christmas and New Year festival. He disclosed that the patrol team comprises police and military officers noting that under his leadership no criminal will take Makeni City as a criminal hub. He revealed that all those arrested in crime areas will be charged to court. By: Alex Bangura After ten minutes argument between Mr. Amara Alpha, teacher of Gbomsamba Rural Academy Secondary School and Mr. Foday Osman Bangura, the proprietor and principle of the said school engaged in a fist battle that resulted to the proprietor being slapped by the aggrieved teacher. This act prompted three teachers leaving the school as protest.
