APC COMMONERS FRUSTATES BOMBALI YOUTH

By Sahr J. Bangah
It’s no more a secret that the eleven years reign of former President Ernest Bai Koroma was engulf by closest friends commonly known as “COMMONERS”. The commoners where comprises of APC and SLPP members but sad to note that immediately when president Koroma took oath of office in 2007, all the commoners declared their support to APC in the name of coming to support their “brother” president Koroma with out realizing that these so-called group have their different agenda.

President Koroma entrusted them so much and make them as his “blue eye’s boys” but little did he knows that most of the “Commoners” were contractors seeking for government contracts in his name to an extend establishing a diaspora office in Freetown in order to create connectivity with the presidency but in return, this group was extorting monies in dollars from the pockets of the diaspora people who may wish to see the president both for national and personal.

At one point, the “COMMONNERS” became so powerful more than some cabinet ministers to an extend influences decision both at central government and local councils level through their connectivity with the presidency. This status automatically makes them drunk and started determine the fate of people negatively without realizing that some of them where political prostitute who at once betrayed APC during the time of needs but resurface at the “harvest time”.

With all the powers vested on the group “COMMONERS” nor of them cannot tell the public especially APC Youth, how many youth in Makeni or Bombali they have help to transformed, interestingly they were graduated in destroying the youth sector with MJ hotel as their meeting point.

This medium believes that this group owns an apology to the Bombali Youth for their deplorable state for undermining the dream of President Koroma. President Koroma is a fine gentleman who was developmentally oriented with a successful planned for the youth sector, but unfortunately he work with detractors such as “commoners and Wusum Ministers”.

To attest to this claim, this medium will publish all the contracts awarded to the commoners both at Local Councils and Central Government. It’s interesting to note that most chairmen and other political positions were influenced by the commoner’s group in return they were compensated with contractors and later sold these contracts to other contractors.
