Faces of the North Entertainment Awards Unveils 2019 Nominees

Faces of the North Entertainment Awards (FaNEA), is an entertainment entity which was established on 30thNovember 2016 through Summit Empire, in a bid to help showcase hidden potentialities of various youths and others as a way of giving life to the Entertainment industry especially those that hails from the northern region, FaNEA Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Summit Empire Iscandri A Sankoh, this is an initiative he has acquired many years ago.

On Saturday the 5the October 2019, FaNEA unveiled the final list of Nominees for the 2019 edition at city Bar and Restaurant. The entertainment stakeholders, sponsors and partners , the press, and the Face of this year’s  FaNEA awards  Madam Agness Saio Manasaray  were among those that witness the event. In his open remark the C.E.O and founder  for FaNEA said this year his team  added  nine category to the previous 38 categories which sum up to 47categories for FaNEA awards 2019. And that they are on negotiations withone of Sierra Leone leading mobile Network to ensure the process of voting happens to followingstandards. This year the event will take place at the prestigious Apex conference Hall Makeni on the 13th December, 2019.

More value and glamour will engulf this year’s FaNEA Awards for people to feel the Nationalist taste at regional level for a record braking event that will be specifically staged in the Northern City of Makeni with a real semblance of international awards such as the BET, Grammy and other Awards.

Speaking on the side of the marketing and fundraising committee, Madam Amanita Doroty Turay assures the general public that FaNEA will make a better event as they believed in some of their partners like: Dream Records, City Media Centre, Big things, I Rep Salon, LBP, Future Media, Northern Times Newspaper and others who are all set to make the process more unique. She however called on entertainers and business entity to believe in their focus and to also come on board as sponsors/Partners as this will contribute immensely to Northern entertainment.

The Executive Producer for summit Empire Madam Hannah Zainab Sankoh encourages Entertainers to prioritize FaNEA as they have the determination to build the trust, credibility and willingness to accept public recommendation.

At the end of the event the C.EO and founder announced that FaNEA has contracted Mr Lux Austin as the head of Content and Madam Adama .S. Fofanah as director of communication for FaNEA 2019. This for Him is a clear road map that the event is getting big, to gaining more momentum and attention in Sierra Leone most especially the North and that his team will strive to change the narratives of entertainment awards in Sierra Leone.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District

Sierra Leone, Two other Nations disqualified from AFCON 2024 U17 Qualifiers

These scans, which determine the age of the players, revealed discrepancies that led to their removal from the tournament. The disqualification follows changes to Article 27.4 of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations regulations, which have tightened the criteria and enforcement of age verification measures. The updated rules stipulate that if a team has more than four players deemed ineligible after the MRI eligibility test, the entire team will be disqualified. The MRI tests, used to enforce age restrictions in youth competitions, are crucial for ensuring fairness.
