Tapping Talents when Young... Bombali District Football Association on their Marks

The Public Relations Officer ll of the Bombali District Football Association - (BDFA), Adams Lilson Koroma in a Press Conference held earlier today December 24, 2019 at the premises of the  Wusum Stadium in Makeni has revealed that "The First Edition of Male Under-14 Tournament (Briama Jalloh Trophy) organised by the  District's FA will kick start on Thursday 6/12/19 at the immaculate primarily school playing filed situated along Robin Road".

He further confirmed that  the opening match will see United Elite Team-A from the Rogbom community will battling it out with Black stars of Teko Road.

The competition will kickstart on the 26th December, 2019 and end on 5th January, 2020 featuring six registered under-14 male clubs that will automatically be affiliated to BDFA after the league.

The winners of the competition  will bag home a star price of Le 200,000 while the runner up and third place teams will take home the sum of Le  150,000 and Le 100,000 respectively, the BDFA Spokesman ll, Adams Lilson Koroma confirmed to this writer.

"There will also be daily man of the match award to be presented at every game throughout the competition and there will also be individual Best of the Best Awards to deserving players at the end of the league", he stressed.

The last time an Under-14 league was organised in Makeni was a year ago by Youths of the MAKIA Association.

This league is envisage by some football followers  to expose fresh skills that will shine to excel at divisional tournaments  in the next five years.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
