Konneh: "My trinket is SWASAL and the Elective Congress is no Do-or-Die"

One of Sports Writers Association (SWASAL) Candidate Mohamed Konneh during a meeting today in Makeni while sharing his vision if voted as the next President of the elite Sports Association in the country said he is priming decency as he trinkets the Association going into the pools this Saturday.

During his meeting with a handful of the membership in the Northern pinned his message emphasizing that he is entering into the pools on May 29 in a brotherly contest with top contender Sahr Morris Junior, whom he said had both established a long standing relation that cannot be broken even by the heats of this election.

In their response the united Northern region delegates expressed deep dissatisfaction with the way and manner eight (8) of their colleagues nominations were rejected by SLAJEC.

"We remained a united force optimistic of a rebranded SWASAL in the coming days with our man Sheku Saccoh Turay eyeing the second highest seat in the association.

"Though at the moment sadden by the latest misnomer which exposed our men like other members in the provinces to such historic humiliations, more so on the birth of a Constitution that was used to knock our men out of the regional race remain new and shocking to a handful of us.

"But we remain to be very resilient determine to make our voices count as always when we will join fellows to create the mush needed change we've all be yearning dor over the years," various speakers at the meeting voiced.

Today's meeting came just 48-hour after Konneh's opponent Sahr Morris Jr. concluded a similar engagement with the said membership.

Incumbent Scribe SWASAL North Emmanuel Yereh Samura has hinted that a highly powered Northern Region delegates will arrive in the capital city of Sierra Leone on at 17:00 GMT ahead of the much needed Sports Writers contest.
