Both clubs faced each other in cracking warmup match on Pray-day at the Wusum Stadium in Makeni.

At the end of the match it was the current leaders of the first-ever men’s super-10 championship Bombali Shebora that triumph 1-0 over Sahid Conteh-U.

Bombali Shebora FC’s Head coach Alusine Conteh praised his players for the win especially one of his new signings Amadu Wurie the forward who was introduced at the quarter hour mark to full time and netted in 86th minute.

Conteh says the encounter has helped him to better test his new acquisitions to the squad ahead of the commencement of the NERFA Men’s Super-10 in the coming days.

“We’re currently at top of the table and we want to remain there, win the championship and eventually gain promotion to next season’s National Premier League.”

But for Sahid Conteh-U Football Club’s Skipper, defender Emmanuel Kargbo the defeat is nothing to worry about. “This match is part of our preparations for the regional championship which resumes soon,” he noted.
