Sierra Queens, the National Senior Women’s Team of Sierra Leone is still ranked as the 136th Best Women’s team in the World according to the latest FIFA ranking of the National Women’s Teams published on 17th June, 2022.
However, sports pundits believed the latest FIFA/Coca Cola ranking of the National Women’s team further points to the level at which Women’s football is in Sierra Leone
With no evident organization of Women’s League and championship nationwide in the West African Football loving Nation of Sierra Leone the country’s women’s team still languishes as the 22 Best Women’s team in Africa while the Super Falcons of Nigeria sits top as the continent’s best women’s team and the 39th Best Team globally.
