NWRFA Historically Decorates Maiden Men’s Super-10 Best-XI

At the Kambia Sports Complex, the North West Region Football Association-(NWRFA), last Sunday made history as the first-ever region nationwide to decorate its team of the season.

The new administrative football region uniquely dressed all eleven players from eight of the ten football clubs that took part in the just concluded Men’s Super-10 Football Champion in customized white and blue jerseys with green stockings.

The historic event was done in the watchful eyes of Thomas Daddy Brima, President of the Sierra Leone Football Association and a barrage of other sports administrators few minutes after the last game of the season in the region, in which the reigning Men’s Super-10 champions Great Scarcies United Football Club defeated 5th place finishers Marampa Stars Football Club 1-0.


Players who made the cut to the NWRFA Men’s Super-10 Best-XI and eventually being dressed are: Goalkeeper Ibrahim Sesay(Great Scarcies United FC), Defenders: Mohamed Bai Kamara(Bankasoka FC), Hassan Kamara(Chico Mayers FC), Issa Bangura(Marampa Stars FC), Santigie Kamara(Marampa Stars), Midfielders: Francis I. Kalokoh(Lamboi FC), Alhassan M. Shaw(Magbema Strikers FC), Alhaji Koroma(Bullom Stars FC), Santigie Dumbuya(Hippos FC), Forwards: Alhassan Baldeh(Great Scarcies FC) and Ibrahim Kamara(Bullom Stars FC).
