On a rainy Monday evening at the General Lansana Conte Stadium in Ngoh, Guinea, the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone managed to salvage a point against Guinea Bissaue in thier AFCON 2023 qualifier Group-A tie.

Host Sierra Leone started  the match on high with skipper Steven Caulker's  10 minutes header flying over the "Djurtus" cross bar letting the visitors stepped up, further resist all pressure as both sides settled for a goalless first half.
