Bo Rangers Jose Cortes unveils 25-man squad for CAF Champions League Preliminary

Jose Miguel Solomon Cortes, the Head Coach of Bo Rangers Football Club of Sierra Leone has unveiled a 25-man squad for Saturday’s encounter against Algerian based soccer outfit CRB in the CAF Champions League preliminary first round.

In his squad to defend the pride of the reigning Sierra Leone Top-tier champions, the Chilean born coach has lined up four goalies, seven defenders, eleven midfielders and three forwards.

Key highlights of his squad includes six newly signed players including prodigal goal machine Suffian Kalokoh from Sweden 1st Division side IFK Varnamo who replaces Musa Noah “Tombo” Kamara whose contract was terminated by the Southern region based club last Month.

Meanwhile, regular suspect and skipper Yemi Duniya who’s on trial abroad approved by Bo Rangers is missing from the squad but the Elephant’s Coach says: “winning our home match before going away to our Algerian opponents remains our top agenda. Just like I guided the team to lift its first ever national championship trophy, I and the rest of the team are set to make another history at this very maiden appearance at the Continental Champions League.”


The Sierra Leonean side is already in Liberia bracing up for their home match which is scheduled to be played on Saturday, 10th September, 2022 at 16:00hrs GMT at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
