Hawa Dauda, the Media and Marketing Officer of the Female Premier League Board of Sierra Leone has said all proceedings for the first ever National Women’s Championship will end later today at a special dinner and awards night underway at the view restaurant.

According to her members of the football family including representatives of the 12 women’s football clubs that participated in the maiden edition eventually won by Mogbwemo Queens, shortlisted female players for various best of the best awards, among others starting 6pm local time will meet and greet sponsors of the championship and other special invitee at the Freetown City hall’s view restaurant.

She concluded expressing thanks and appreciation on behalf of the Female Premier League Board of Sierra Leone to the Government of Sierra Leone, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), the media, club owners, players, supporters, the security personnel and everyone for playing a part to set the pace for the betterment of female football in the country.
