Back home, Conteh is famous for his goal-scoring ability and his six goals historic goals scored against Lamboi FC puts him on top of the list of players that have scored more than a three goals in a single national top-tier match, a feat that has been hit by a only a few including former FC Kallon forward Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura and Port Authority forward Musa Noah “Tombo” Kamara who’ve previously netted hauls (4 goals each) in a single match respectively against Old Edwardians and Anti-Drugs FC. However, all eyes will be on Conteh when the Norwegian League season begins to help his new club gain promotion from the first division league after finishing on 13th place last season with 37 points.
