SV Werder Bremen takes tougher disciplinary actions against Ex-Liverpool Midfielder Keita for "Letting the ub down"




Guinean International and Ex-Liverpool midfielder Naby keita NK8 has been handed a suspended by his German side SV Werder Bremen for reportedly refusing to travel and play after he found out he wasn't part of the team's starting xi for their match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

In his absence from the squad, Bayer 04 Leverkusen Thailand Fanclub eventually beat his side 5-0 to clinch thier first Bundesliga title in 120 years since the club was established.

In addition to his suspension that will elaspe at the end of the season, the former Liverpool FC man, Naby Deco Keïta will be excluded from the team's training with him also been handed a "substantial fine" by the club.

According to Clemens Fritz, who's football Director at Werder, they "won't tolerate Naby's behaviour."

"He let his team down in a time of difficulty surrounding our recent run of form and squad availability and put his own interests above those of the team," he added.
