Inaugural WES Sierra Leone Independence Tour Deferred

The organiser of the Inaugural WES Sierra Leone Independence Tour that was due to commence this month in Makeni, Kenema, Freetown and Bo has been deferred to later this year.
Egerdon Promotions and its partners have since pleaded to the public in a presser stating that “to our beautiful and supportive citizens and officials of Sierra Leone, it's in our best interest to reschedule our show to December and January.”

Mohamed “Terrorhandsome” Sesay who was earlier unveiled by the tour pioneers Egerdon Promotions as the host Disc Jockey for the WES Sierra Leone Independence in Makeni echoed that there is growing interest for the tour and they as organisers saw the need defer the event to let them expand its organisation scope to five other towns and cities including Kabala, Port Loko, Koidu and Lungi.

“It’s time for Sierra Leoneans in Makeni, Bo , Kenema, Freetown, Kabala, Port Loko, Koidu, Lungi and other towns and cities across the country to brace up for the best of entertainment courtesy of the inaugural edition of the WES Sierra Leone Independence,” he urged revealing that the upcoming event aims to showcase Sierra Leone’s tradition and culture through entertainment.

Commenting on what to expect, Sesay assures that the WES Sierra Leone Independence tour which is sure to commence in nine different cities nationwide the next seven months will features “mesmerising appearances from emerging and established models,  as well as cultural dance, burn fire and top level comedy and musical performances aimed at showcasing Sierra Leone’s rich cultural heritage and potentials across the globe.”

As the countdown to the event begins, four other host DJs namely (DJ Desperate, DJ Alias, DJ Xcent and DJ Deco) have been announced as the respective hosts joining DJ Terrorhandsome while five others will be equally unveiled in the coming weeks, the show organisers have confirmed.

Yoni Chiefdom Crowns Journalist Richmond Tholley as Ceremonial Chief
