NSA Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Embarks on National Campaign on Kush

NSA Executive Director Lawyer Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, on Sunday 27th October 2024, launched an under 15 football trophy titled: Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai U-15 Trophy at the Wusum Field, Makeni City.

The goal of the competition is to eradicate kush and other harmful substances in the country that have destroyed many prospective young men and women using the most popular sport, football.

Recently, the government, through the House of Parliament, declared kush as a public health emergency.

It could be recalled that Dr. Abdulai has stagged similar competitions in Kenema, Grafton Community, Calaba Town in the Eastern Part of the Freetown, and Rokel Community, among others.

Dr. Abdulai and his hard-working team are expected to continue with the national drive on kush next weekend in other parts of the country.

The National Sports Authority is an agency of government established by an Act of Parliament with the mandate to promote, encourage, develop, and supervise all sports and sporting activities in Sierra Leone and to provide for other related matters.
