Wusum Stars Versus E.E. Lions Football Club Match Preview

Wusum Stars Football club host E.E Lions Football in match day -2 of the Leone Rock Premier League 2024/2025 season.

Coach Abdul Bangura's team found form last weekend with a 1-1 draw to Fc Kallon in Freetown cut of Alimammy Buya Kamara whose world class finished wasn't enough to seal their first win of the campaign after Fc Kallon sealed an equalizing goal from the spot kick as a result of an handball offence committed by Wusum Stars at the end tale fo the match.

Wusum Stars will have to combat the loss of Abdul Bangura fondly call Ashavin and Semah Kamara who are currently playing their  football in Europe. 

In the absence of Abdul Bangura  Alimamy Buya Kamara as  emerge as the star of the team despite been disturb with an ankle injury during last season's Premier league but has rediscovered his forrn back after his master class performance against Fc Kallon that earn him the Player of the match award. 

Ibrahim Kargbo whose contributions were immense during last session's Premier league has also return from a calf injury he sustained during a national assignment with the Sierra Leone U-20 team that qualify Sierra Leone to the first ever U-20 African Cup of Nation to be hosted in Morocco 2025, and possibly will be up with the squad tonight against former boss Coach Mohamed Lamin.

Coach Mohamed Lamin joined Wusum Stars two years back replacing coach Abdul Rahman Turay fondly call Agina taking the team from relegation position to 9th Position during his first season with the club and his second season was amazing finished 4th position before his suspension from the club.

Wusum Stars has no record of wining against E.E Lions in all their matches but hope to turn their record against their former boss coach Mohamed Lamin.

Popular Striker Musa Noah Kamara and golden boot winner who was on loan to Bo Rangers has returned back to his former side E.E Lions from Port Authority will lead the attacking line-up with former Wusum Stars Striker Sullaiman S Kargbo (S.S).
