Awoko reporter Amadu Ibrahim Mansaray inspire peers with his Award dedication

Amadu Ibrahim Mansaray, a promising reporter working for Sierra Leone’s leading daily, Awoko Newspaper, has publicly dedicated his recent award from Aiders Education Network Sierra Leone to his peers who are committed to excellence. 

Also, a final-year student at Ernest Bai Koroma University in Port Loko, reporter Mansaray is also actively involved in education as a part-time teacher and Head of the Language Arts & Civil Education Department at S.I. Koroma Memorial Islamic Secondary School.

His dedication to service recently paid off when he was named the Best Junior Secondary School Teacher in Port Loko city for the year 2025, during the Aiders Education National Sierra Leone 2025 Awards of Excellence ceremony.

Accompanied by his relatives, the excited Mansaray collected his prestigious award and certificate from the event organizers, with genuine gratitude.

Upon receiving his award, Mansaray expressed deep appreciation to Aiders In Education Network Sierra Leone for acknowledging his dedication to nurturing the next generation of scholars.

In his acceptance speech, he passionately dedicated his award to all young individuals striving for greatness despite obstacles, emphasizing that perseverance and determination truly define success. 

He remarked, “This award is for every young person working tirelessly for excellence, regardless of their background or the challenges they face. Your resolve embodies true greatness.”

Concluding his remarks, Mansaray extended special thanks to those who have supported him along the way, particularly his school principal, Mr. Mohamed Alie Kargbo, the dedicated staff, and the pupils at S.I. Koroma Memorial Islamic Secondary School. He credited their collective efforts and encouragement as the foundation for his recognition as the Best Junior Secondary School Teacher of the Year 2025 in Port Loko City.
