Truth Media, the newly established multimedia venture co-founded by renowned journalist Amadu Lamrana Bah, a former staff of AYV Media Empire has confirmed Monday, August 25, 2025 as the launch date for an anticipated flagship radio program.
He stated that the premiere flagship radio program has been named as the "Truth Morning Devotion."
The launch of Truth Media signifies a bold new chapter in Sierra Leone’s media landscape and the “Truth Morning Devotion” will air live on Truth Radio 103.9 Frequency Modulation (FM) every morning starting at 6:30 a.m., offering listeners a dynamic blend of content including exclusive interviews, timely sports and entertainment updates, and interactive discussions that aim to inform, inspire, and engage audiences across the country and beyond.
Adding further credibility and anticipation to the program is the Saturday evening announcement that the anticipated flagship radio program will be hosted by Amadu Lamrana Bah himself.
Mr. Bah, a former President of the Sierra Leone Reporters Union (SLRU) is a respected figure in Sierra Leonean journalism, known for his impactful reporting with the Media One Center and the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire but eventually resigned.
His transition into entrepreneurship and media leadership has been closely followed by industry watchers and supporters alike.
In a statement about the upcoming launch, Bah said: "Truth Media is more than just a media house, it’s a platform built on integrity, independence, and the voices of everyday people. With the Truth Morning Devotion, we aim to start each day with meaningful conversations, balanced reporting, and a commitment to truth above all."
The show will also be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube, making it easily accessible to digital audiences both locally and in the diaspora.
The decision to prioritize digital platforms reflects Truth Media’s forward-looking strategy to serve a tech-savvy and globally connected generation.
This announcement follows Bah’s recent confirmation of the establishment of Truth Media, a fully-fledged media organization housing both a radio station and a newspaper.
It's believed that the venture is expected to play a key role in shaping national discourse and setting new standards in journalism and broadcasting.
"Tune in to Truth Radio 103.9 FM or join the live stream on Facebook and YouTube this Monday at 6:30 a.m. to experience the debut of Truth Morning Devotion, and be part of the start of something truly transformative in Sierra Leone’s media space," Mr. Bah appealed.
