Makeni DJs Union Mourns DJ Musget After Tragic Boat Accident

The Makeni DJs Union has announced, with profound sorrow, the death of one of its members, DJ Musget, who lost his life on Tuesday in a tragic boat accident while returning from a performance engagement.

According to the Union's Secretary General of the Union, Mohamed Simbo Kamara, DJ Musget had been hired to provide music at a village near Timbama. On his journey back to Makeni, the boat transporting him and three others capsized.

While the other passengers survived the incident, DJ Musget did not. As of the time of this report, his body has not yet been recovered.

The news has sent shockwaves through the local music and entertainment community, where DJ Musget was widely known for his talent, energy, and ability to bring people together through music. 

Colleagues and friends described him as a vibrant and committed professional whose work left a lasting impact on events and celebrations across the region.

In a statement released by the Makeni DJs Union, the group expressed deep grief over the loss of a colleague, friend, and brother, noting that his passing has left a painful void within the fraternity.

The Union said details of funeral arrangements will be communicated once they are finalized.

DJ Musget is remembered not only for his skills behind the turntables but also for the joy and warmth he shared with audiences wherever he performed. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
