MB Salone was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and is from the Fula people of Sierra Leone/Guinea. He was born during the war over blood diamonds. At age 6, together with his sister, they were almost abducted by the rebel forces as child soldiers. He left Sierra Leone for the United States to seek refuge, as an undocumented refugee and moved to Jacksonville where he joined the United States education system. Bangah At a jam-packed high court in Makeni presided over by Justice Unisa Kamara, Amidu Bangura was arraigned for the offence of manslaughter contrary to law after he has spent three years in detention. According to court evidence from the police, it was disclosed that the accused allegedly killed the decease Mohamed Tarawalie at Makoni village in the Kunike Barina chiefdom, Tonkolili District on the 5th May 2017.  It was further disclosed that the decease Mohamed Tarawalie was a worker to the accused Amidu Bangura when he met his untimely death. Another police reported produced in court revealed that the accused was discovered lying along the Makoni road in a pool of blood.
