The Makeni City Council (MCC) has allocated funds for the ASPHALTIC OVERLAYING ON MAKENI LORRY PARK in the Makeni City. The Makeni City Council (MCC) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the: ASPHALTIC OVERLAYING ON MAKENI LORRY PARK in the Makeni City.

The Contractor will provide aggregate and Bitumen for Bituminous Works.

Bidding is open to all interested Bidders who hold valid Certificates from contractor’s registration Board of Sierra Leone:  Financial Class II and above with evidence of proven capacity to Pre-finance. 

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below between 10: AM – 3: PM Mondays - Fridays.  Bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of: (Five Hundred Thousand Leones) SLL500, 000.00.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00Noon on Thursday30th January, 2020.

All bids must be accompanied by:
A Bid security; Le 10,640,000
Copy of Valid Business registration Certificate
Copy of valid Classification Certificate from Sierra Leone Roads Authority Financial Class B or better
A valid tax Certificate ( NRA)
A Valid NASSIT  Clearance Certificate
References indicating the Contractors ability to organise the Works of Similar nature and must have successfully completed at least Two
Show a Minimum Average Annual turnover of Le 364,000,000 calculated as total certified payments received for Contracts in progress or completed within the last Three Years
Financial Report (i.e. Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Auditors Report (Certified) for the Financial Year 2017&2018 to demonstrate the current soundness of Bidders financial position
Copy of valid Council Registration Certificate
Work schedule 
Site visitation evidence format collected from the Procurement Unit

Bids will be opened onThursday, 30th January 2020, at 12:05 Noon in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend, at the address below.  Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Residents of the Asker Amputee Camp in Makeni City, including various war victims, are rejoicing over the inauguration of the Makeni Medical Mission health facility, established by philanthropist, author, and pastor Mr. Bambay Sawaneh, alongside his partners in the United States.
