Youth is the golden stage in human life. It is the stage between childhood and adulthood and it is the most difficult stage in life. It is the stage following childhood and the stage that precedes maturity.

Sophia Loren once said that: "There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love".

During the youth age in life, there are so many opportunities but life also faces threat. Make good use of the opportunies and try to overcome the threats. Learn from all these experiences and always try to overcome.

Youths are no longer leaders of tomorrow but leaders of today. So many people have been tagged successful during their youth age and so many youths have also been tagged as failures during this period.

These human judgements are made base on how you handle your opportunities and challenges during the youth age.

Success they say is achieved when opportunity meets preparation but again how positively you can impact the people around you.

Let me remind you of the adage "failing to plan, is planning to fail".

Remember as well that a worthy life spent is not measure by age but by deeds.

Knowledge is light. So as a youth, you have the luxury of acquiring education, be it formal or informal. The quest to gain education and being moderate will help you live a decent and successful life.

Education is not only limited to acquiring certificates, diplomas, degrees or Phd's but also in acquiring skills in building, carpentry, tailoring etc. Education is doing business, how to buy and sell, how to make your two turn to four, how to farm, how to fish and how to make use of your strength to make ends meet for the long run. *It is during your youth age that you should work for your old age.*

Why should I spent six hours in one place without doing nothing? Why should I addict myself to harmful drugs ? Why shoud I engaged myself in violence? I rather spent just two hours reading daily or three hours learning electrical engineering. I will also prefer doing trading than sitting down idling. There is a moral saying that *an idle man's brain is the devil workplace.*

As a youth, you have the opportunity to choose good from bad. It is during this stage that you build your path to success or failure. Let the future be now and don't be blind over the building blocks to success.

Let me end with the words of Sir Walter Reliegh which says *"Use your youth so that you may have comfort to remember it when it has forsaken you, and not sigh and grieve at the account thereof".*
