Bo Rangers Win Sierra Leone Top-Tier, ends 58 years drought

Bo Rangers impressively wrapped up the 2021-2022 season with a 4-0 victory over Central Parade on Sunday 29th May 2022 at the Bo Sport Stadium.

Before last Sunday's triumph, "The Elephant" had needed a point from three matches to confirm their championship status but stepped up strongly and collected all 9 points from their remaining league games to  win their first ever Top-Tier with an unprecedented 78points, 16 point adrift second place East End Lions.

The Club which was founded in 1954 was named called Kakua Devils later Kakua Eagles, Kakua Rangers and now Bo Rangers has been led by many Administrators who in diverse ways emensely played their part to take the stardom but couldn't until Babadi Kamara took over.

Kamara a famous Business man and current Manager of the Sierra Leone National Men's Team(Leone Stars) leadership as Bo Rangers Executive Chairman is believed by many to be "a force to reckon with following his rapidity together with other Bo Rangers Executive members and well wishers to develop the team and the historic Sierra Leone Premier League win remains an  archievement that speaks volume. 

Dialating on the Club's Success, Mohamed Javombo a fan Club Executive Member said "winning the league and rebranding this Club is our key motive and with the support of everyone this is just the beginning."

He therefore called on all to come onboard an help lift the club higher.

On his parts, Bo Rangers Captain Morie Alie said, "our success is the results of Hard work, Motivation and Unity.

However, Its could be recalled that in May 2021, Bo Rangers Executive Chairman Mr Babadi Kamara disclosed his priorities namely: Restructure the Club, Boosting the Club Infrastructure and winning the league which he as successfully done.

Bo Rangers did not only won the Sierra Leone Premier League trophy but their players bagged notable awards. They include: Eshike Kamara, Saidu Bah Kamara, Musa Noah Kamara, Head Coach Jose Solomon Cortes and Mohamed Bangura (Nor For Tae Dea) won the Best Midfielder, Best Player, Best Striker, Highest Goal Scorer,Best Coach and the Best Supporters Awards in that order.
 
AWE-MEDIA.SL understoods that Bo Rangers as champions of this season's Sierra Leone Premier League will be the country's representative that will be competing in next year's CAF Champions League.

Sierra Leone, Two other Nations disqualified from AFCON 2024 U17 Qualifiers
